Sunny Bank Mills Galleries 16th April 2026.

Examples of the Textile Art that were on display at Sunny Bank Mills Galleries when we visited on April 16th. There was also a guided tour of the Museum and Archive. Members enjoyed the social gathering for refreshments; before and after the tour.

Leeds City Library January 2026

We had a guided tour focussing on the architecture, followed by a Book Browse. This included a first edition of 'On the Origin of the Species' by Charles Darwin, original plans of the Grade 11 listed building plus books on artists, sculpture, pottery and architecture.

Visit to Leeds University Library Galleries 16th October 2025

We had a 40 minute talk followed by viewings of the Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery plus the Treasures of The Brotherton Gallery. It was a most enjoyable and informative morning, with the right balance for a social and cultural event
